Description

Screwball Comedy

American Premiere

A Play by Norm Foster
Directed by Howard Storm
Produced by David Hunt Stafford

This is SCREWBALL COMEDY: The year is 1938 and aspiring reporter Mary Hayes is struggling to break into the male-dominated world of journalism. Jeff Kincaid may be the hottest reporter in the city, but his job is on the line and Mary could well be the one to replace him. Reminiscent of the zany, cinematic screwball comedies of Gable and Colbert or Hepburn and Grant, this delightful play crackles with wit and humor!

Runtime is 2 hours 20 minutes, with one 15 minute intermission.

Starring:

Niko Boles • Lane Compton • Gail Johnston • Daniel Leslie • Jean Mackie
Sharron Shayne • David Hunt Stafford • George Villas • Kate Whitney
