Flare Path

November 20 – December 15, 2014

A Play by Terence Rattigan
Directed by Bruce Gray
Produced by David Hunt Stafford

This is FLARE PATH:

Written by British playwright Sir Terence Rattigan and first staged in 1942, Flare Path is a moving story of love and loyalty, courage and fear, based on Rattigan’s own experiences as a tail gunner in WWII. The play follows Royal Air Force bomber pilot Teddy, who’s celebrating a reunion with his wife Patricia. Little does Teddy know that Patricia’s old flame, a Hollywood film star, is also a guest at the same hotel. When an urgent bombing mission over Germany is ordered, an emotional conflict forms, as unpredictable as the war in the skies.
