This charming musical adaptation of As You Like It takes Shakespeare’s characters out to the country. In Theatre 40’s version, Ben Fredericks is out to steal the Double W Ranch from Jesse Wells and his knucklehead brother, former rodeo rider Webb Wells. Ben plans on using the ranch to hide toxic waste under the disguise of a massive theme park. But Ben’s daughter and her cousin don’t want any part of his crooked plan and hit the road with plans to become country singers where they meet up with heartthrob singer Jesse. Tanglin’ Hearts features cowboys and cowgirls falling in and out of love, along with fun country tunes and a whole mess of Texas fun.
