These are the Wednesday Evening Plays at the Greystone Theatre:
August 28 – The Love List by Norm Foster
In this side-splitting and thought-provoking new comedy, Leon and Bill concoct a list of attributes of the ideal woman – the top ten best qualities in a mate. When this allegedly “ideal woman” actually arrives on the scene, the men quickly learn that their list could use a few revisions. Careful what you wish for – especially in choosing a mate. This old adage leads to hilarious results in Foster’s sparkling comic hit. Featuring Kristin Towers-Rowles, Jeremy Schaye, Matt Landig.
September 4 – Argentia 1941 by Dan Greaney
A historical drama about the meeting between Franklin D. Roosevelt and Winston Churchill as Churchill tries to convince FDR to get into World War Two to defeat Germany. This fascinating and insightful history lesson is based on actual events. Featuring Joe Clabby, David Hunt Stafford, Colin Borden, Larry Eisenberg, Michael Mullen Jackie Shearn.
September 18 – Sirens by Deborah Zoe Laufer
When Sam Abrams first fell in love with Rose, he wrote her a song – which was covered by recording artists throughout the world. For twenty-five years, Sam has been trying to write the next song with no luck. While celebrating their twenty-fifth wedding anniversary on a cruise in the Mediterranean, Sam hears the most beautiful music and jumps overboard, ending up on the Siren’s island. There he must struggle with the seductions of the Siren, the terrors of middle age, and the tortures of creative failure, while also finding a way back home. Directed by Melanie MacQueen. Featuring Diana Angelina, Lee Ann Rowe.
